Sisters

Take a minute to read about who the Salesian Sisters are - they're really quite wonderful!!!

Here at Brettargh Holt, the volunteers work alongside the Salesian Sisters.

The Sisters were founded in 1872, by Don Bosco, an Italian priest, and Mary Mazzarello, both totally committed to helping the young.

The Salesian Sisters continue their mission in dedicating their lives to young people, especially the poorest, the unloved and the most needy. In a fun and welcoming way, they are present to the young and are always ready to offer security, friendship and help for the future.

They are a worldwide congregation of over 14,000 Sisters working in 89 countries. They work throughout the UK in schools, parishes, pastoral centres, youth clubs and in various other ways.
